Who We Are
The American Legion Riders (ALR) bring together motorcycle enthusiasts from across the American Legion Family who share a passion for riding and an unwavering commitment to supporting our nation’s veterans. Whether leading patriotic parades, providing ceremonial escorts for military honors, or organizing charity rides for veteran relief and youth scholarships, the Riders serve as a dynamic, high-visibility arm of our Post.
Who Can Join?
To become a member of the American Legion Riders, you must fulfill two core requirements:
- Legion Family Membership: You must hold an active membership in good standing with The American Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary, or the Sons of The American Legion.
- Rider Qualifications: You must legally own a motorcycle (or be the spouse of a registered owner) within your state of residence, possess a valid motorcycle operator license, and maintain state-required motorcycle insurance.
